March 1-3, 2023
Scope of the conference
Central scientific topics are the crystallization of synthetic polymers, the formation of amyloids in the area of biopolymers as well as the structure formation in hybrid systems (macromolecules with synthetic and biological elements).
We aim at organizing a conference that is attractive for PhD students and other early career researchers from polymer science and that provides plenty of opportunity to exchange with their peers as well as with important senior scientists of the field. Therefore, our program will be a balanced mix of scientific presentations as well as more interactive sessions. These interactive elements range from the classical poster sessions to workshops on topics relevant for PhD students, round table discussions and insights behind the CV of the invited speakers.
A team of doctoral students of the SFB/TRR 102 and its integrated Research Training Group organizes the MacroStruct2023. After two years of restrictions due to the Covid 19-pandemic, many PhD students so far only attended online conferences. Hence, our motivation is to organize a conference especially for young researchers in polymer science.
